Continue your exploration of Madrid. Today, you'll spend half of the day visiting the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace, two of the most iconic attractions in all of Spain. The Prado Museum is known as one of the most significant art galleries in the world. Then, continue to Madrid's Royal Palace, the largest in Western Europe, built in the 18th century by Felipe V. Explore the official reception rooms, the museum area, the Royal Chapel, the Throne Room, and the private quarters of King Carlos III and Queen Isabel II. Return to your hotel. 

Today, you'll head to Toledo, about a 30-minute train ride. Once you arrive, you will begin a walking tour through Toledo with a private guide. Toledo is often regarded as Spain's medieval capital, with an impressive collection of 16th-century artwork and architecture. The highlight of the trip is the Alcazar of Toledo, a historic fortress dating back to Roman times. After your time in Toledo, you'll take the train back to Madrid.

Today, you'll be traveling by train to Barcelona, which is about 2.5 hours. Once you arrive, your driver will be there to take you to your accommodation. 

After a good night's rest, you'll head out for a private walking tour through Barcelona's Gothic Quarter. Stroll by 4th-century Roman walls and towers, navigate the narrow stone alleyways of the old Jewish Quarter, and stand at the governmental square, Plaça de Sant Jaume. After exploring Barcelona's historic core, travel like a local as your guide hails a taxi to Antoni Gaudí's iconic Sagrada Familia. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site and monumental masterpiece of architecture, still under construction over 100 years later.

Today, you and your private driver will traverse the Catalunya countryside. Explore the historic pilgrimage site of Montserrat, home to about 80 Benedictine monks for nearly 1,000 years. Visit the 16th-century Renaissance Basilica and marvel at the 12th-century Black Madonna, Catalonia's revered Patron Saint. Perched dramatically on a rocky outcrop, Montserrat offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it a must-visit during your trip.
